LMS Gold Storms Back To Defeat Tri West

LMS Gold rallied to beat Tri West 9-4 on Monday. LMS Gold trailed by as many as four runs during the game. Brayden Wegener collected three hits in three at bats in the win. Wegener singled in the fifth inning, singled in the first inning, and singled in the third inning. Tri West got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Linder walked, and Johnston stole home, each scoring one run. Tri West added to their early lead in the bottom of the second inning after Saldana singled down the left field line, and Moore doubled, each scoring one run. LMS Gold flipped the game on its head in the top of the fifth, scoring nine runs on seven hits to take the lead, 9-4. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Roman Moore that drove in two. Noah Adams earned the win for LMS Gold. The pitcher allowed five hits and four runs over four innings, striking out five and walking three. #16 took the loss for Tri West. The hurler went one and one-third innings, surrendering six runs on three hits, striking out three and walking two. Johnston started the game for Tri West. The hurler surrendered three hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out six and walking two. Moore pitched one inning of zero-run ball for LMS Gold in relief. The hurler gave up one hit, striking out none and walking none. LMS Gold amassed 10 hits in the game. Adams collected two hits for LMS Gold in four at bats. LMS Gold play at home on Tuesday against Southmont.
